May 22nd 2017, was a sad day. Followed by multiple days after.
It all happened so fast. The attack. The crying. The screaming. And people running.
Basically, so many attacks have happened in our daily basis. All around the world. It's all saddening. It almost feels like our world is no longer a safe place for us. What once felt like home, turns out to be the most unsafe place. But we shall not fear about it. We must all be strong and stick together. Because by staying together, we can conquer the world.
I love music. I've always loved music. I grow up to pop music, and I am so grateful for that. Music is a universal language. It doesn't matter if you are black, white, skinny, fat, broke, rich. No matter what your race, religion, beliefs, and background, music speaks to you equally. Music delivers message deeper than any other.
May 22nd was a heartbreaking day for music lovers. It broke the world's heart. And it broke mine.
The attack was taken place at pop star Ariana Grande's Dangerous Woman tour at the Manchester Arena. 22 lives were taken, and some others were injured. This happened at a concert.
A concert or gig should be the place where people have some fun, let loose, and receive the great messages spoken through the music.

"No one should go to a concert and never come home 💔"
--as tweeted by Olly Murs (@ollyofficial)
I have been to one in a big arena, and I couldn't imagine if that happened to me. I couldn't imagine how disastrous it would have been. Having people panicking and screaming, and crying. If that happens to me, I would be devastated and traumatized.
Hearing that news for the first time that day, I felt so sad. First, because it was Manchester, my favorite city, the place where I've always wanted to be. And second, because it happened at a concert, my happy place.
Then, I think the terrorists hadn't finished yet. Philippines got hurt. Followed by Jakarta, Indonesia. My country. Haven't we all had enough?
Some people are loosing their faith for humanity, because the world is no longer safe and stable. I somehow missed those days, where the problems weren't as big as today. I feel bad, because I can't really do something beside praying. People may say, 'you are just one of those people behind the computer', and yes I am. But I do hope that by writing all my feelings out, I can share something with the world.
Well, the world might not be a safe place, but what's wrong with sharing some thoughts?
We can always create a better world. It is never too late for that. No matter how broken our world is, we can always fix it. I believe that there's nothing that can not be fixed. Together we are stronger.
Together we can spread the joy and make the world a little better, everyday.
Lotsa Love, Mary 💗
