Trying The Body Shop Products

Hello peeps, been a long time since my last post, but now I am back with the new one. I have been busy and feeling stressed lately, so sorry. I hope this post will make it up to you.

Lately, I have been crazy over The Body Shop products. Sounds late, I know, but I have never been the one using these kind of products, like body butter or shower gel. All I use on my daily basis are just body wash and body lotion for my skin.

Then a couple of weeks ago, my second cousin took me on a shopping trip. We went to The Body Shop counter, and that's when I had an urge to try some of their products. I have heard so many recommendations on these products before, but never for once I tried. So, that one time I decided to try these products and becoming a member.

I tried three products, fragrance mist, body butter, and shower gel. Here's my reviews on each products.

English Dawn Gardenia Fragrance Mist

First time I tried this mist, I feel in love instantly. The scent is really good and I really love it. It smells like a garden full of lilies and roses in the dawn, really fresh. Definitely my go-to mist right now. Besides, the bottle is the perfect size for travel or daily use. I use it every morning before class and the scent stayed until around noon, so I have to spray it again.

Moringa Shower Gel

I have tried shower gel before, but then I decided to go back to regular soap. But when I tried this shower gel, I could tell there's a difference before and after shower. My after shower skin feels so smooth and smells good. Not that I didn't get the effect after using the regular soap, but this shower gel is different. The moringa essence makes it smell good like a flower. I use it every morning for a perfect wake up call, hehehe. The foam is better using shower lily.

British Rose Body Butter

British Rose is one of The Body Shop signature products. At the counter, I tried the hand cream and it smells good. But then I decided to buy the body butter, because it moisturize skin more. And that's right. I have always used body lotion to moisturize my skin, it doesn't stay that long especially when you stay mostly in a room with air conditioner. My skin became dry around noon. But this body butter helps to moisturize your skin all day. It also has a butter like texture. But it doesn't really smell that good at first. I think it's kinda strange, you know. It smells a bit different that the mist, but I am okay with that. This is now my go-to body butter. I got the smaller size for my travel bag. Overall, this body butter does help my skin and I love it!

Well, I think that's all I got to say. I do love these products and am willing to try more from The Body Shop. I will see you on the next post!

Night Routine with Petroleum Jelly

Ciao friends! Welcome back to my blog post! Today I am going to tell you about my night routine with petroleum jelly. As we all know, petroleum jelly has so many uses, and it is widely used in cosmetic skin care. Now, I am gonna show you how I use this petroleum jelly (product by Vaseline). My night routine consists of brushing my teeth, washing my face, and dipping right into Vaseline petroleum jelly. The texture of this jelly is really soft and balm like. Apply a small amount of jelly on any areas that you desired.  Firstly, I use it for my lips. I have dry and chapped lips, so I apply this jelly, just a little bit, on them before bed, and when I wake up in the morning, my lips are no longer chapped. You need to do this every night as a routine for a better effect. Then, I too apply this jelly on some pimples on my face. Yes, I do have a problem with this for a while, and petroleum jelly finally helps me out. Those little pimples are little by little no lon...

Stockholm Syndrome as a Survival Instinct

Hi fellas! Been so long since my last post, and now I am back! I want to share something with you guys, and this actually is something that I've discovered for a while now. Hope you enjoy! Stockholm Syndrome as a Survival Instinct   Stockholm syndrome. Some of us may have heard those two words. Maybe from a song title whose a songwriter used as the song’s inspiration, or maybe from several fictions on reading sites like Wattpad. But actually, does Stockholm syndrome exist? Let’s check this out! The origin of the syndrome itself was a bank robbery in Stockholm, Sweden, back in August 23rd 1973, including the hostage of four people within 131 hours. At that time, the unusual phenomenon occurred. One of the hostages, Kristin Enmark (23), was actually ‘bonding’ emotionally with the captor. She even confronted and feared the police when they were being rescued. She then confessed her dislike towards the police and defended the captors on the local radio. Later in th...

So Good Album does Sound so Good

Hello there! Been so long since my last music review, and it was about Zayn Malik's Pillowtalk . Phew! I've been gone for so long, but now I decided to be more active in running this blog. As you can see, my blog has just been renewed and I am pretty satisfied with the new theme. So, in this post I'm going to give my opinion about this (kinda new) album from Swedish singer, Zara Larsson. I am pretty sure that you have heard about her before.     Few weeks ago, I discovered an album in Spotify. See, I wasn't really aware of new musics until I made a Spotify account. I have heard about Zara Larsson before, but not sure which song of hers that I've heard. So, I decided to listen to Ain't My Fault as it was pretty much people's jam. Turned out that the tune was so good and it stayed in my head for days. Then I listened to the entire album and fell in love instantly. I bought the CD here . But if you are not from Indonesia and willing to purchase...
