Within a Span of 10 Years, I Will Be

Hello everyone, welcome back to my blog! Today, I will be sharing a road map about what I am going to do within the span of ten years. Please note that this is an assignment to be posted in our personal blogs. So, here we go. If you don’t speak Bahasa Indonesia, you can go to the translation bar and translate the page into English (Bearla).

Light as a Feather, The Game is Cursed

Happy Halloween! Welcome back to my blog! I am truly sorry for being inactive for months. Since the term started, I had a little spare time, and most of them were spent on writing for my Wattpad book. On this post, I would love to review a new Hulu original show, which actually is based on a Wattpad book titled Light as a Feather, Stiff as a Board. Light as a feather... I don't know whether or not you have heard about this game, but I hadn't heard about it until I read the Wattpad book. And I actually did a quick research about it. According to Wikipedia, light as a feather stiff as a board is actually a slumber party game, which includes some levitation tricks. Though the Wattpad book describes the game as a hypnosis like ritual, the author included some horror in it. Then one by one, the stories of how one died were becoming true and as gruesome as the story teller told. But today I am not going to talk about the book or how they are different. I will review only the sh

Pray For Humanity

Almost a year ago, I wrote a blog post titled My Thoughts on Manchester and Others . Never did I think that almost a year later I would write another post over the terror that happened in my home city . Surabaya has always been a peaceful place, but the attack that had taken place recently changed that statement. Sunday, 3rd May 2018. I was on my way to get some breakfast, right after a weekly mass. It was 06.46 in the morning. Just after the breakfast and I was on my way home, I got a group message. One of my friends was asking whether there was a church bombing or not. Since I did not know for sure, so I replied with 'I don't know'. Minutes into stepping home, I saw a notification from a media, stating that there was a church bombing-no, there were three church bombings. Can you imagine how devastated I was? My legs were practically turned into jelly as I read through the news over and over again. Then, I remembered my best friend, whose church is pretty close with o

Indonesian Local Brand VS International Brand: Make Over Intense Matte Lip Cream VS Victoria’s Secret Velvet Matte Cream Lip Stain

Hello! After months I finally come back. It’s been a good semester, and meanwhile I am finally back on a new term at college. Actually I want to introduce a new segment which is ‘Indonesian Local Brand VS International Brand’ that will review not only cosmetics but also other stuffs. Stay tune for more reviews from me!   I’ve always been a huge fan of lips cosmetics. I feel like, if I don't wear anything on our lips while going out, it feels incomplete. On this post, I want to share my thoughts on my two favorite lip creams—one from local brand that is totally recommended by fellow beauty bloggers, and the other one is from the brand we all know about. This is an honest review, and this review is not sponsored by any of the mentioned brands. Make Over Intense Matte Lip Cream is one of products which is recommended by local beauty blogger. It has many range of colors, and as a fan of nude color I really love those shades. While Victoria’s Secret , as we all know, has lau

Trying The Body Shop Products

Hello peeps, been a long time since my last post, but now I am back with the new one. I have been busy and feeling stressed lately, so sorry. I hope this post will make it up to you. Lately, I have been crazy over The Body Shop products. Sounds late, I know, but I have never been the one using these kind of products, like body butter or shower gel. All I use on my daily basis are just body wash and body lotion for my skin. Then a couple of weeks ago, my second cousin took me on a shopping trip. We went to The Body Shop counter, and that's when I had an urge to try some of their products. I have heard so many recommendations on these products before, but never for once I tried. So, that one time I decided to try these products and becoming a member. I tried three products, fragrance mist, body butter, and shower gel. Here's my reviews on each products. English Dawn Gardenia Fragrance Mist First time I tried this mist, I feel in love instantly. The scent is really

Night Routine with Petroleum Jelly

Ciao friends! Welcome back to my blog post! Today I am going to tell you about my night routine with petroleum jelly. As we all know, petroleum jelly has so many uses, and it is widely used in cosmetic skin care. Now, I am gonna show you how I use this petroleum jelly (product by Vaseline). My night routine consists of brushing my teeth, washing my face, and dipping right into Vaseline petroleum jelly. The texture of this jelly is really soft and balm like. Apply a small amount of jelly on any areas that you desired.  Firstly, I use it for my lips. I have dry and chapped lips, so I apply this jelly, just a little bit, on them before bed, and when I wake up in the morning, my lips are no longer chapped. You need to do this every night as a routine for a better effect. Then, I too apply this jelly on some pimples on my face. Yes, I do have a problem with this for a while, and petroleum jelly finally helps me out. Those little pimples are little by little no longer

Stockholm Syndrome as a Survival Instinct

Hi fellas! Been so long since my last post, and now I am back! I want to share something with you guys, and this actually is something that I've discovered for a while now. Hope you enjoy! Stockholm Syndrome as a Survival Instinct   Stockholm syndrome. Some of us may have heard those two words. Maybe from a song title whose a songwriter used as the song’s inspiration, or maybe from several fictions on reading sites like Wattpad. But actually, does Stockholm syndrome exist? Let’s check this out! The origin of the syndrome itself was a bank robbery in Stockholm, Sweden, back in August 23rd 1973, including the hostage of four people within 131 hours. At that time, the unusual phenomenon occurred. One of the hostages, Kristin Enmark (23), was actually ‘bonding’ emotionally with the captor. She even confronted and feared the police when they were being rescued. She then confessed her dislike towards the police and defended the captors on the local radio. Later in th
